Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s co-star Sapna Pabbi has been summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau in the ongoing drugs related probe. Sushant and Sapna worked together in 2019 film ‘Drive’ that was released on Netflix.
Sapna’s name surfaced after the arrest of Agisilaos, the brother of Arjun Rampal’s girlfriend. A news agency had quoted, “Agisilaos has been arrested from a resort in Lonavala area of Mumbai. Drugs have been recovered from his possession. Alprazolam, a tablet that is banned in India was recovered during a raid at his home.”
And now, Sushant’s co-star Sapna is under the radar of NCB. However, agency officials have shared that Sapna has not yet responded to the summons. An official said, “If she doesn’t respond, we will initiate further action.”
Has she disappeared after receiving summons?
There were reports that she had disappeared after receiving the summons. She clarified the same on Instagram. Shd told, “I am saddened to see speculative media reports in India about me being untraceable or missing. I have been back at home in London to be with my family and as such my lawyers have already communicated this with the authorities in Indiawho are fully aware of my whereabouts.”
Apart from Drive, her other projects include web series The Trip, Inside Edge: Season 2, 24 among others.
On June 14, when the news of Sushant’s death broke out, Sapna posted a few pictures with Sushant on Instagram and wrote, “He wanted the moon, but I don’t think he ever realised that at times he was the moon. He was the warmest moon, sitting in the corner reading his space book. My moonlit friend, my space man, my fellow quantum buddy, you star; I hope you’ve reached your destination now. This goodbye is too painful for words. May your beautiful soul rest in peace.”
