Bollywood’s rising star Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14, 2020. The Kai Po Che actor died of suicide at the age of 34 and his untimely demise sent shockwaves across the nation. Post Sushant’s death his family arrived in Mumbai from Patna. The actor’s last rites were performed on June 15 at Pawan Hans Crematorium. A few Bollywood celebs alongside Sushant’s close friends marked their presence at his funeral. As the family returned to Patna, they held a prayer meet recently and few politicians even attended it.
The untimely departure of a promising actor led to many speculations and there was a heated debate on social media platforms claiming that Sushant became an unfortunate victim of the nepotism existing in the industry. Some reports also claimed that Sushant was planning to get married by the end of this year.

Speaking of Sushant’s impending wedding plans, recently, his father Krishna Kumar Singh has confirmed the news to a news channel. The late actor’s father spilled the beans that Sushant had mentioned to him that he was thinking to get married in early February 2021, before that he had a film release. Sushant’s father said that he never mentioned a girl at the time.
Krishna Kumar Singh said that they only knew about Ankita Lokhande since she had visited them in Mumbai and Patna while the actress was dating Sushant during the Pavitra Rishta days.
For the unversed, Sushant Singh Rajput dated Ankita Lokhande for 6 years. The actress also visited his family after his death. Sushant’s family wasn’t aware of Rhea Chakraborty.

To conclude Sushant’s father said that the late actor was very open about his feelings when he was younger but didn’t speak much towards the end.
