After the untimely demise of Bollywood’s rising star Sushant Singh Rajput, the makers of his last film titled Dil Bechara have announced that the late actor’s last on-screen outing will be released digitally next month.
The Kai Po Che actor’s fans were hoping that his last film will be released in the theatres and they surely will be disappointed by this news. Sushant’s co-star Sanjana Sanghi took to social media to share the film’s brand new poster. The film will be released on Disney Plus Hotstar and while the films on Hotstar are usually for the subscription team, the makers of Dil Bechara said that the film will be available for everyone for free. Well, millions of Sushant’s fans will now be able to enjoy his last on-screen presence free of cost.
Sanjana shared the poster of the film and captioned it, “A story of love, of hope, and of endless memories. Celebrating our dearest, and the late #SushantSinghRajput ‘s legacy that will be etched in the minds of all and cherished forever. #DilBechara is going to be coming to everyone on @DisneyPlusHotstar on July 24. For the love of Sushant and his love for cinema, the movie will be available to all subscribers and non-subscribers.”
Dil Bechara is a loose adaption of John Green’s famous book Fault In Our Stars.
Sushant Singh Rajput was last seen in Netflix film Drive and the 2019 blockbuster Chhichhore. The 34-year old actor died of suicide on June 14, 2020, at his residence in Mumbai.
The film was slated to release in theatres on May 8, 2020, but due to the nationwide lockdown, the makers had to call it off.
