Following the sudden demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, there have been many shocking revelations in the case.

The Kai Po Che actor passed away at his residence in Mumbai on June 14, 2020. The 34-years old died of suicide.

A while after Sushant’s death, his father K.K Singh had filed an FIR with the Bihar Police. It was against the late actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and five others for abetment to suicide and fraud.

Following the registered FIR, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) came into action to investigate the money laundering charges.

The ED officials grilled Rhea Chakraborty and a few others and recorded their statements with regards to the case.

Meanwhile, after investigating the financial angle of Sushant Singh Rajput’s case, the ED has now appraoched the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).

ED has sought help from the Narcotics Control Bureau to probe the drug angle in the already complex case.

A source has informed, “ED wants to understand whether there’s any drug-related angle involved in Sushant’s case.”

Apart from ED, the CBI is also investigating Sushant’s case. They have already summoned a few people close to the actor.

In fact, a report claims CBI also interrogated two Mumbai Police personnel in connection to the case.

After their arrival in Mumbai, the CBI officials firstly interrogated the flatmate of Sushant Singh Rajput, Siddharth Piathni.

Sources state that CBI interrogated Siddharth twice to find any inconsistencies in his statements.

The officials even visited Sushant’s flat with the forensic team. They recreated a dummy crime scene to rule out foul play.

However, CBI is yet to interrogate Rhea Chakraborty and her family members. Apparently the Jalebi actress is one of the prime suspects in the case.

According to some reports, the CBI has sought help from AIIMS Forensic department to understand the post-mortem reports of Sushant.

The time of death was allegedly missing from the autopsy reports of the late actor. The time of death would help solve many big questions raised in the case.

The officials are reportedly briefing their seniors in Delhi about all the latest developments and findings in the case.

The Supreme Court handed over the Sushant Singh Rajput case to the CBI on August 19, 2020.

The top court also exempted the 14-day mandatory quarantine for the CBI and forensic team after their arrival in Mumbai from Delhi.
