Soorarai Pottru Hindi Remake: Tamil cinema actor Suriya is currently shooting for his cameo role in Soorarai Pottru’s Hindi remake, which will star Akshay Kumar and Radhika Madan in the lead role. While confirming his cameo in the upcoming Tamil film remake the actor shared a picture of himself with Akshay Kumar on his Instagram.

Tamil cinema megastar Soorarai recently shared a picture of himself with Akshay Kumar over his Instagram account, as he wrote, “Akshay Kumar sir to see you as Vir was nostalgic! Sudha Kongara can see our story beautifully coming alive again #Maara! Enjoyed every minute with team ‘Soorarai Pottru’ Hindi in a brief cameo!”
While the Prithviraj actor Akshay Kumar reacted to the post and commented, “Thank you brother @Suriya_offl. Loving every moment shooting for the retelling of an inspirational story like #SooraraiPottru. And being in Chennai is all (heart) despite our strict captain”

About Soorarai Pottru’s Hindi Remake
The Hindi version of the film is directed by Sudha Kongara. And will be produced by Suriya’s production house, 2D Entertainment, along with Abudantia Entertainment and Cape Good Films on a lavish scale. Sudha Kongara-directed film. For the unversed, the Tamil version of the film was among the ten Indian films to be screened in the Best Foreign Film category at the 78th Golden Globe Awards and was also sent for the 93rd Academy Awards.
While the Tamil film “Soorarai Pottru” revolved around Nedumaaran Rajangam or “Maara”, who sets out to make the common man fly and in the process takes on the world’s most capital-intensive industry with the help of his family, friends, and sheer willpower. It was partly inspired by events from the life of Air Deccan founder Captain G R Gopinath.
