The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) got involved in the Sushant Singh Rajput case when the ED suspected an alleged drug angle in the case. Following the same, interrogation took place and every prime suspect was summoned. After the probe, SSR’s former girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty were arrested for procuring drugs. Among others who were taken into custody by the agency was Sushant’s former staff member Dipesh Sawant. He is currently out on bail and Dipesh Sawant as of now reportedly seeks Rs 10 lakh compensation from NCB for illegal detention.

Apart from Dipesh Sawant, the late actor’s former house manager Samuel Miranda was also arrested by the drug control agency.

However now, Dipesh Sawant has approached Bombay High Court and has filed a plea against NCB.

In the plea, Dipesh Sawant is accusing NCB of illegal detention before appearing in the local court.

He also accuses the drug control agency of violating his basic fundamental rights. He allegedly claims that the officials failed to produce him before the metropolitan magistrate court within 24 hours.

As per Dipesh’s plea, NCB took him under their custody from his house on September 4. However, they allegedly produced him before the local court 36 hours later on September 6 afternoon. He also allegedly accuses the agency of wrongly recording his arrest date as September 5 at 8 PM.

Dipesh Sawant now reportedly seeks Rs 10 lakh compensation from NCB. Apart from this, he is also demanding appropriate action against the procurement of drugs and connection with drug peddlers.

A while back, the AIIMS Medical Board ruled out any type of foul play involved in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. They reportedly concluded by saying that the 34-year died by suicide.
