Shah Rukh Khan Took Home Rs 200 Crore From ‘Pathaan’ Without charging Any Fees

Shah Rukh Khan is once again one of the highest-paid actors in India after the huge success of his spy thriller Pathaan.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is riding on the success of his most recent blockbuster action-packed spy thriller film, Pathaan, which became the first Hindi film to reach the 1,050.3 crore (US$130 million) worldwide mark at the global box office in the original Hindi language. With Pathaan, SRK returns to the big screen after almost four years, and it definitely has to be said that this is a huge treat for Bollywood films after their back-to-back flops and remakes. Now there is great news for the fans of the actor, as he is again on the list of highest-paid actors.

Recently, reports have stated that Shah Rukh Khan has once again become the highest-paid Indian actor after the huge success of Pathaan. SRK has once again come in at number one on the list, with 200 crores from the success of the film, and that too without charging the makers of Pathaan a single penny as a fee. If the expenses are deducted from the total earnings of the film, then YRF earned around Rs 333 crores from this film.

If reports are to be believed, the actor had chosen a 60% profit-sharing deal with YRF as his deal for the film. The Siddharth Anand-directed spy thriller was made on a Rs 270 crore budget, and YRF earned a total of 603 crores from Pathaan’s Indian and foreign theatrical releases, as well as satellite and digital rights.

And Shah Rukh Khan has received 60% of the entire amount as his compensation, which is around 200 crores. This has not been the first time that the fate of the actors has changed.
