Actor Soundarya Sharma recently returned to Mumbai after shooting a schedule for web series Raktanchal Season 2. The unit had moved to Banaras, Uttar Pradesh as the web-series is inspired by real-life events from the 1980s of Purvanchal, a region in east Uttar Pradesh.
Soundarya said, “Banaras is one of the most beautiful cities with a spiritual value. It was a great experience. But we had to be very careful due to Covid-19 because as you know, even the vaccines are not easily available these days. It was very tough and challenging. We had to stop shooting due to the pandemic and we still have 20 days to shoot. But I hope everyone stays safe as it is more important.”
