Jug Jugg Jeeyo actress Neetu Kapoor is on cloud nine as her son Ranbir Kapoor is all set to embrace fatherhood. The soon-to-be grandmother was spotted by the paparazzi on the sets of her upcoming project. After the shoot, Neetu was seen with choreographer Farah Khan and TV star Karan Kundrra. As the shutterbugs congratulated her, Farah and Karan too joined them. Neetu blushed and said, “Thank You.”
A cameraman then asked, “You are going to be a grandmother. How do you feel?” To this, Neetu replied, “You tell me, how I must be feeling!”
She then continued, “Becoming a grandmother is the best feeling in the world.”
On Monday morning, Alia Bhatt took everyone by surprise as she announced her pregnancy. Sharing a picture of herself undergoing sonography, Alia Bhatt wrote, “Our baby ….. coming soon.” The picture also featured Ranbir Kapoor as he sat beside her.
The Internet is filled with love and congratulatory wishes for the couple. New mommy Priyanka Chopra wrote, “Congratulations honey!! Yaaaay! Can’t wait!”
Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan said, “Congratulations Mama and Papa lion.”
Several other celebs like Anil Kapoor, Pooja Hegde, Neha Dhupia, Farhan Akhtar and Mouni Roy also dropped lovely comments.
On the work front, Alia and Ranbir will be together seen in Ayan Mukerji’s fantasy film ‘Brahmastra’. It is scheduled for theatrical release on Sep 9. Ranbir will also be seen in ‘Shamshera’ alongside Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor.
