Sonu Turns Author With Debut Book I Am No Messiah

Bollywood stellar actor Sonu Sood becomes an author with his debut book, I Am No Messiah where he stated his reasons for not being a messiah.

Apart from being an actor, hotelier, producer, entrepreneur and philanthropist the ace actor best known for his brilliant performances in films like Jodha Akbar (2008), Singh Is Kinng (2008), Dabanng (2009), Kung Fu Yoga (2017), Happy New Year (2016), R…Rajkumar (2013) and so on the “migrant messiah” Sonu turns author with debut book I Am No Messiah.

The actor who has been ruling the hearts of his fans from past so many years in his career as an actor has now also won the hearts of the indian audiences, Netizens, twitteratis and globally as well where his outstanding social work during the nation wide COVID 19 pandemic lockdown for safe transportation of the labourers, migrants and students back to their home towns along with also offering the labourers and students job opportunities coupled with transferring jobless migrant labourers money in their accounts has not gone unnoticed. On a pan Indian level along with across the globe, he has got unconditional love, praises, and support for his this selfless deed which also made the UNDP confer and bestow Sonu with a special humanitarian action award post which he has now joined the list of well known global icons Priyanka Chopra, Emma Watson and other stars. The latest exciting update for all his fans is that Sonu turns author with debut book I Am No Messiah.

The actor feels he is no “Migrant Messiah” that his friends, fans and netizens have named him with and explaining his reasons behind the same, Sonu during his recent interview with a renowned Indian TV news channel spoke all about his entire lockdown journey and what tempted and motivated him to turn an author and write a book about the same.

When asked about why he says and believes in not being Messiah, the actor told, “I don’t believe I am a messiah, I think I’m part of their journey, a part of every single migrant who is living and wants to come back to the bigger cities to earn some bread and butter for their family, so I totally believe that the connection I got from last 6 months, it made me one of them. I don’t believe that I’m any sort of a messiah”.

When asked about reminiscing and remembering his entire journey that culminated into him writing the book, he said, “I remember the first day when I started my whole journey of giving food to people and I thought I have done my job as an individual and now we have to wait for the whole Coronavirus to end. But that’s the time the whole journey started when I saw millions of migrants walking on foot back to their village and this won’t end if I don’t go on roads, then their journey started of sending them back”.

On the work front, Sonu will be reuniting with Akshay Kumar after 12 years with YRF Films big budget period historical drama film Prithviraj which also stars the Khalnayak of Bollywood Sanjay Dutt and marks the official bollywood debut of Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar and the film is being produced by Aditya Chopra.
