This can be seen as a national revolutionary movement where after Diljit Dosanjh came out in solidarity of farmers in the ongoing farmers protest, slowly and steadily we saw many B town celebs like Swara, Priyanka, Sonam, Parineeti now even Bollywood ace star Sonu Sood supports farmers, says Kisaan Hai Toh Hum Hai.
For those who don’t know, the farmers protest has hit our country India like a tornado which is only getting more stronger with each passing day as more and more farmers are joining the protest in the capital city Delhi’s borders and standing together unitedly to make sure that their demands be heard and are also seen fighting for their basic rights in India. This is already public knowledge now that tomorrow on the 8th December 2020, there’s going to be a nationwide Bharat Bandh in lieu of the farmers protest and they started getting support from their own Pollywood film / music industry post which then gradually this time around though, even Bollywood stood up and joined their hands in strength and complete support of the farmers and now the newest entrant in this ever increasing list is Bollywood’s iconic star Sonu Sood where his fans and even the netizens are surely feeling proud and elated to witness that even Sonu Sood supports farmers, says Kisaan Hai Toh Hum Hai.
Sonu took to his official twitter account and where his earlier tweet read, “Kisaan Mera bhagwaan”. Now the actor has yet again written a tweet which read, “Kisaan Hai Toh Hum Hai” as the farmers are strongly rebelling nationwide against the centre’s new farming laws which they feel is totally unfair and not favorable to them in any way. This act of his has once again won the hearts of his fans and followers who are loving and cheering loudly for his decision to stand in unity with farmers of India. One fan replying to the actor’s tweet wrote, “Thank you sonu sir , apne hum kisano ki taraf se awaj uthai , sach main aap great hero aur real hero ho, jo hum jaise garib kisano ki halat samaj sakate ho”.
While another social media user wrote, “Sir ji tusi v to pure punjabi kissan ho sade piyare kissan de bete Thank you support kissan sir ji”.
Also, according to the leading Indian newspaper Hindustan Times, the farmers are strongly opposing together in solid unity as a whole against the Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020, and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020. This is also very true, that the farmers are all ready and set to have a whole nation wide Bharat Bandh tomorrow on the 8th December 2020 if their demands are not met with by the government.
