After Shehnaaz Gill, Sonam Bajwa Revealed Being Sidelined In The Punjabi Film Industry

After Shehnaaz Gill revealed the truth about the Punjabi film industry, now Sonam Bajwa talks about being sidelined in the film industry.

Sonam Bajwa has been winning the hearts of people over the years with her outstanding performances. The actress is also very active on social media and enjoys a massive fan following. The actress has given many memorable performances; however, the journey to this point was not easy for her. Talking about facing issues in her career, Sonam recently revealed being sidelined in the Punjabi film industry. The actress said that it did not affect her much because she has faced all this since childhood. She talked about how being successful in her career changed the behaviour of people towards her.

Sonam Bajwa recalled her early experiences of being teased because of her skin colour during her chat with Siddharth Kannan. She said that because she is a Punjabi, she is not treated fairly, and this results in discrimination. She talked about how some of her family never extended her an invitation to visit them. They did, however, shift their attitude towards her as a result of her professional achievements, but the actress no longer earned their respect. She continued by saying that if you succeed in business or society, everyone will appreciate you.

The 33-year-old actress said that the only thing we can do is never become like them. So the people sidelined her, and that too at that age when she did not understand why they were doing this.

Shehnaaz Gill, who is also part of the Punjab cinema industry, has also talked about how she has been cut off from the business. Shehnaaz claimed that she had maintained her faith in God to lead the way.

Sonam Bajwa made her acting debut with the Punjabi film Best of Luck in 2013 after winning the Femina Miss India competition in 2012. Later, she was cast as the movie’s leading lady in Punjab (1984). For ‘The Entertainers’ tour in the US, the actress was recently spotted with Akshay Kumar, Disha Patani, Mouni Roy, and Nora Fatehi.
