Now two most globally prominent faces Sonam and Priyanka support farmers in ongoing farmers protest.
Since the moment globally loved Bollywood superstar and punjabi actor / singer Diljit Dosanjh also came out in support of farmers by joining them in their ongoing peaceful protest yesterday at the Delhi borders and also donated Rs. 1 crore for making sure that the farmers have winter wear to protect them from the cold, bollywood also soon started following the same trend where now after many celebs are coming forward for supporting farmers, two of most distinguished stellar globally loved B town actresses Sonam and Priyanka support farmers in ongoing farmers protest.
Global fashion icon Sonam Kapoor and global superstar Priyanka Chopra took to their social media handles of Instagram and Twitter and are pledging their support to them.
Taking to her official Instagram handle, Sonam shared series of pictures in her post where we can see how the farmers are peacefully protesting on the Delhi border and her caption had a quote by Daniel Webster which read, “When tillage begins, other arts follow. The farmers, therefore, are the founders of human civilization”.
Meanwhile, global icon Priyanka Chopra called farmers as the Indian soldiers whose hopes and wishes should be fulfilled and met with by the government. Taking to her official twitter handle, Priyanka reposted a tweet wherein there was a picture of farmers protesting peacefully on Delhi borders by global superstar Diljit Dosanjh, and wrote a caption that read, “Our farmers are India’s food soldiers. Their fears need to be allayed. Their hopes need to be met. As a thriving democracy, we must ensure that this crises is resolved sooner than later”.
