Earlier they were this sidekick to this handsome hunk and lead of the movie or a jester but now they are portrayed as an individual characters.
Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi starrer Double have become quite popular among the viewers but not at the box office. Rajshri Trivedi (Huma Qureshi), based in Meerut, has a dream. She’s so desperate to become a TV sports host that she’s willing to go against her family’s (squeaky mother, resigned father, and supportive grandma) wishes to see her married and “settle down”. Saira Khanna (Sonakshi Sinha), a girl from Delhi, is dating a muscular fitness rat, but her heart burns to start her own designer label.
Of course, everything is against her, one independent-thinking youth. Women,
either the small-town Rajshri, who has no idea how to deal with women in short shirts, or the townspeople, but confuses Saira, who thinks she should be grateful for male attention even if the man in question is a mess.
