The Bollywood industry came to a sudden halt after the coronavirus scare took over the nation. The nationwide lockdown has been imposed and all the shoots for films and shows have been stopped. However recently, actress Sonakshi Sinha got accused by director Vivek Agnihotri of shooting in the midst of lockdown.
The director shared a picture from a publication on his Twitter and said that Sonakshi was shooting during the Coronavirus lockdown as well. But the truth of the same was not known to anyone. On Monday, Sonakshi confessed the truth behind the photo shared by Vivek and bashed him for accusing her falsely.
Sonakshi shared the screenshot of Vivek Agnihotri’s tweet which read, “Who shoots in this time?” Sonakshi tagged Mumbai Police and office of Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray asking them to help her in the matter of spreading false rumors amidst the lockdown.
Sonakshi wrote, “Excuse me @MumbaiPolice @OfficeofUT what is the procedure to stop people from spreading rumors and fake news at a time like this? Asking for a responsible citizen, sitting at home, practicing social distancing and NOT shooting – ME.”
Sonakshi’s brother Luv Sinha also shared the same on his social media handle.
In a tweet after that, Sonakshi called out that the director must be more informed that no one is shooting right now since all studios have been shut due to nationwide lockdown. Sonakshi then clarified about the picture which caused the mess, she said that it is an old throwback picture was taken back in November 2019.
By bashing the director she shut down all the rumors and trolls which were stating that Sonakshi is shooting in the midst of the lockdown. She wrote, “Being a Director and member of many unions and film bodies one would expect you to be better informed that Absolutely NO one is shooting since studios are shut and its a national lockdown! I believe Classic freeze frame means throwback in @MumbaiMirror terms, clearly meaning its an old picture, from 5th Nov 2019 to be precise! Aaah… those were the days!”
On the work front, Sonakshi Sinha was last seen in Dabanng 3 alongside Salman Khan and Saiee Manjrekar. Apart from that, Sonakshi is currently spreading awareness amongst her followers about social distancing and his urging them to stay indoors.
