Somy Ali Reacts To Pathaan Song “Besharam Rang” Controversy

Pathaan: Siddharth Anand’s film Pathaan has sparked extreme outrage on the internet. Apparently, the film’s recently released song “Besharam Rang” has garnered a lot of attention after netizens claimed that the song featured “vulgar visuals”. Many politicians even demanded the film and the song be permanently banned.

Reacting to the same Salman Khan’s ex-Somy Ali has now defended the song and shared her objection against BJP politicians who stood against the song and demanded a ban on it. Taking to Instagram, Somy wrote, “I can’t wait to see this movie and this song! Deepika looks stunning and this is a huge motivator for me personally to put more effort into my workouts.”

Slamming the politicians on demanding ban Somy added, “As for the illiterate Minister: Get yourself a freaking life. Focus on children being sold into sex trafficking in India on a daily basis. Women being victims of acid attacks and domestic violence. Little boys and girls being victims of sexual and physical abuse. People literally losing their lives due to starvation. The high-ranking statistics of women being raped every single day”.

Somy concluded saying, “Check your priorities rather than picking on artists who have creative licenses to do what they want as long as it does not harm anyone. And aside from encouraging people to workout harder, there is nothing wrong with this song or movie. Get your priorities in check and start with getting an education”.

Boycott Pathaan’s “Besharam Rang” Controversy

For the unversed, Shah Rukh Khan’s film Pathaan has been facing extreme backlash for its song “Besharam Rang”. Apparently, a segment of netizens have claimed that the song features “vulgar visuals”. Many politicians even expressed their discontent over the use of saffron color in Deepika Padukone’s outfits. Many people even demanded a ban on the film.
