With Singham Again hitting theatres today, November 1, fans are already curious about when they’ll be able to watch this action film on OTT platforms. Directed by Rohit Shetty, this is the third film in the Singham series and stars Ajay Devgn as Bajirao Singham. This time, the story has a mythological twist inspired by the Ramayana with Singham on a mission to rescue his wife, Avni (played by Kareena Kapoor), from the villain Danger Lanka (Arjun Kapoor).
Singham Again enters theatres with high expectations and faces tough competition from Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which was also released for Diwali. Singham Again promises plenty of action and emotion, while Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 adds comedy-horror to the festive season lineup, making this Diwali special for movie lovers. Fans of the earlier Singham films can look forward to the same high-energy action and powerful performances.
The excitement around Singham Again isn’t just for theatres. Amazon Prime Video has reportedly bought the OTT rights for 130 crore, the biggest OTT deal so far for Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty. Fans who want to watch Singham Again from home may get the chance around late December, about two months after its theatre release. Although there’s no official streaming date yet, it’s expected to arrive on Amazon Prime Video soon.
The non-theatrical rights for Singham Again have been sold for a huge 200 crore, with Amazon Prime paying about 65% of that for digital rights. This means the movie has already recovered a large part of its 250-crore budget, setting up Singham Again for box office success.
With its big release and an OTT premiere in the works, Singham Again is giving fans something to celebrate in theatres this Diwali.
