With the beginning of 2022, singer Rinku Giri is all set to offer a sweet melody to his fans. In collaboration with DNV Productions and Yellow Music, he is coming up with a sad romantic Sufi song titled ‘Duawan’ that is scheduled to release on Jan 4. The teaser was recently dropped on YouTube and it features Sumit Shehzada and Khushboo Rajput reprising the role of passionate lovers.
Apart from lending his soulful voice, Rinku has also penned the lyrics and composed the music. When asked about his experience of working with the team, he said, “It was a good experience. Director Danish Rajput is a good friend of mine. One day, he came up to me asking for a Sufi romantic song. I had a few lines already written. When I presented it to him, he liked it a lot and that’s how we started working on Duawan.”

Rinku Giri hails from Jalandhar, Punjab. He studied music for five years before coming to Mumbai at the age of 25 in the year 2005. In his 15 years of career, he has sung for many TV serials and commercials. This includes Star Plus show ‘Veera’, &TV’s ‘Krishna, and Sony TV’s ‘Vignaharta Ganesh’. He also sung ‘Dil Dhadke Louder Louder’ song for Arjun Kapoor and Anil Kapoor’s film ‘Mubarakan’. He was also associated TVF for the web series ‘Yeh Meri Family’.
When asked about his upcoming projects, he revealed that he has sung a solo song for Ashram 3, a web series featuring Bobby Deol in lead. He will also be releasing some devotional songs very soon.
