The upcoming film Sikandar, directed by Tamil filmmaker AR Murugadoss, is gaining significant attention as it brings together Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and rising star Rashmika Mandanna. The action-packed entertainer is already one of the most anticipated films, with fans eager to see the duo on screen. As the film progresses, Salman Khan and Rashmika have recently been shooting an exciting dance number that promises to captivate the audience.
Due to a recent rib injury sustained by Salman during an intense action sequence, the film’s team decided to take a brief break from the action to focus on a colorful song sequence. According to Mid-Day, Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna are currently filming the song in a set designed to reflect the slums of Dharavi, built at the SRPF Ground in Goregaon.
A source shared that the festive song features over 200 background dancers, portraying a lively celebration among slum dwellers. Salman Khan sports a unique look with a silver chain, earrings, a black vest, and a full-sleeved shirt paired with denim. Rashmika, on the other hand, is seen in a traditional salwar kameez, enhancing the visual appeal of the number.
As per reports, AR Murugadoss has nearly finished filming the song, and the team will soon resume shooting the high-octane action scenes. If all goes according to plan, the shooting in Mumbai will continue until October before the cast and crew head to Europe to film two romantic songs.
Along with Salman Khan and Rashmika, Sikandar also features actors Sathyaraj and Kajal Aggarwal in key roles. Recently, Kajal joined the shoot, further heightening the excitement for fans.
