Karan Johar’s classic film ‘My Name Is Khan’ has completed 12 years of its release. On the special occasion, actor Sidharth Malhotra shared some unseen pics from the sets of the film.
For the unaware, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan worked as assistant directors on the film. The actor took to his Instagram story and shared a picture collage in which he can be seen with Shahrukh Khan during the shoot of several scenes.
Working as an assistant director for this remarkable film was a life-changing experience for Sidharth. He had once said, “It is the best film school I could go to.” He had also thanked Karan Johar for the opportunity.
My Name Is Khan stars Shahrukh Khan and Kajol in the leading roles. It was released worldwide on 12 Feb 2010. After working as an AD, Sidharth made his big Bollywood debut in 2012 with Karan Johar’s film ‘Student Of The Year’ also featuring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt.
In 2021, Sidharth gave the biggest hit of his career as he played the lead role in Captain Vikram Batra’s biopic titled ‘Shershaah’. He will next be seen in an action-packed film titled ‘Mission Majnu’ alongside Rashmika Mandanna. He will also share screen space with Disha Patani in another action film called ‘Yodha’.
