Amitabh and Jaya first met on the set of Bansi Aur Birju in 1970. They fell in love when they were shooting for Hrishikesh Mukerjee’s film Guddi in 1971 and tied the knot. They have shared screens together in Hindi blockbuster films like Sholay, Abhimaan, Zanjeer, and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, among others.
