When the country witnessed a huge spike in the Covid-19 cases, many Bollywood celebrities packed their bags and headed for a vacation. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani are a few to name. Not only these actors left the country for a holiday but also posted pictures from their exotic vacation.
The actors have been receiving heavy criticism for the same. And now, actress Shruti Haasan has also condemned this behavior of these celebrities. In a recent interview, Shruti said, “I did not personally feel it was a time to go maskless in a pool. It has been a tough time for everyone and for some people much more. I think gratitude and being thankful for privileges is what is most important to know versus throwing your privileges in people’s faces.”
Many people are in support of Shruti’s statement who believe that privileged people need to be more sensitive and empathetic during such hard times. What are your views on this?
