Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is currently gearing up for her upcoming film, Jigra. Recently, a teaser trailer of the upcoming film was released on Sunday, 8 September. As soon as the trailer dropped many Bollywood celebrities shared their reactions and hailed the film’s trailer. The list of celebrities also included Stree 2 actress Shraddha Kapoor who praised Alia Bhatt’s performance in the trailer.
Taking to her Instagram stories Shraddha shared the trailer of “Jigra” and wrote, “Ye toh theatre mein bhai ke saath dekhna hai“, Shraddha then tagged Alia in her story and wrote, “Kya Kamaal ladki hai“, she then further praised Vasan Bala, and wrote, “Kya amazing trailer hai“.
However, while Shraddha was seen praising and promoting Alia Bhatt’s film, Jigra, many of her fans came out and blasted Alia Bhatt for not promoting Shraddha’s previously released film, “Stree 2”.
Slamming Alia Bhatt a user wrote, “#ShraddhaKapoor supported #AliaBhatt while Alia remained quiet about the success of #Stree2. This shows the difference between an insecure and a confident actress, and between a jealous soul and a good soul. Alia is a bloody snake.”
Another wrote, “OMG!!!#ShraddhaKapoor has no insecurities at all,not seen many so called bollywood biggies posting about #Stree2 even after its humongous sucess but look at her female superstar for a reason-a girl with golden heart praising her contempries also”
However, many fans of Alia Bhatt came to her defense later on. Explaining why Alia didn’t congratulate Shraddha on Stree 2’s success a user wrote, “#AliaBhatt is a busy mother, wife, entrepreneur and actress. Maybe she reached out Shraddha personally to support her. Who are we to judge if someone is a good or a bad soul? #ShraddhaKapoor is a golden hearted woman & I’m sure Alia’s too.”
Additionally, Vasan Bala also issued an apology to Shraddha for not promoting her film, “Stree 2”. He wrote in his Instagram stories, “Thank you so much Shraddha. Hope you and Siddhanth enjoy the film too. And unrelated but I will take this opportunity to address – sorry to your fans. Bhool Chuk Maaf.”
