Shraddha Kapoor recently revealed that she dropped out of college to pursue acting

Shraddha Kapoor while promoting her upcoming film Chhichhore starring Sushant Singh Rajput, recently opened up about dropping out of college for making her Bollywood debut.

Shraddha Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput are currently on a promotional spree for their upcoming film Chhichhore. The film happens to be a comedy-drama that also stars Varun Sharma, Prateik Babbar, Tahir Raj Bhasin and Naveen Polishetty among others. Helmed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film is leaving no stone unturned to impress fans with the amazing dialogue promos, teasers and songs.

At a recent promotional event, on Kapil Sharma’s show, Shraddha revealed how she dropped out of college to make her Bollywood debut. She shared, “Actually, pehle plan thi ki education aur college khatam karungi, phir acting mein aaungi. Lekin bohot impatient ho gayi main. Wapas aa gayi toh offers aane lage. Auditions ke offers, film offers nahi. Toh mujhe laga ki chalo, drop out karti hoon.” However, she added that she isn’t giving anyone advice and they should do what they want in life.

While Sushant who was seen reminiscing his college days and said, “Achcha student tha main, Delhi College of Engineering mein padta tha. Lekin main first semester mein hostel se nikaal diya gaya. Humare college mein rule tha ki 7 baje ke baad agar aaoge hostel mein, toh entry nahi milti.” Sushant, out of the four years engineering course completed only three years.

Shraddha is currently seen hopping in between different movie sets and promotional events as she is currently working simultaneously on different projects. She will also be seen in the dance film ‘Street Dancer 3D‘ helmed by Remo D’Souza and starring Varun Dhawan.


‘Chhichhore’ will hit the screens on September 6.
