The world has come to a standstill due to coronavirus. In such hard times, people are looking for sources of entertainment to distract themselves from the negativity amid world crisis. However, the entertainment industry too has come to a halt. The shooting of films, daily soaps, and web series have stopped and the release dates of upcoming ones have been shifted to an indefinite time.
Akshay Kumar’s action-packed film Sooryavanshi left people excited when its trailer was released. The film was scheduled to release on Mar 24. However, due to the lockdown in the entire nation, the makers had to hold its release. Irrfan Khan’s film Angrezi Medium was released right before the lockdown but its earnings were severely impacted. And therefore, the makers released it on OTT platforms. And now, we conducted a poll to know the preference of viewers regarding Sooryavanshi.

Around 3900 people participated in the poll, 72% of which said that they are eager to watch the film and it should be released online. However, 28% of them believed that the big-budgeted film deserves a theatrical release.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, Sooryavanshi is the fourth installment of his cop universe after Singham, Singham Returns and Simmba. Sooryavanshi stars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh will also be seen in reprise roles.
