Shocking! Stree 2 Box Office Collection BEATS ‘Animal’, Targets ‘Pathaan’

Stree2BoxOffice: Amar Kaushik’s horror-comedy film, Stree 2 has become the “highest” grossing film of 2024. While the film is breaking records with every passing day, the horror comedy has already managed to beat several big blockbusters of 2023 like Ranbir Kapoor starrer “Animal”.

Yes, you read that right! Apparently, Shraddha Kapoor starrer horror comedy sequel, “Stree 2” has been breaking records ever since its theatrical release. With its impressive box office business the film has already managed to beat several all-time blockbuster hits like, Sunny Deol starrer “Gadar”, Shah Rukh Khan starrer “Dunki”, Salman Khan starrer “Tiger 3”, Prabhas starrer “Baahubali 2” and now the film has also managed to beat Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film, “Animal”.

After making a bumper box office opening worth Rs 76.5 Crores, Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer “Stree 2” made ₹ 291.65 Cr through its first week, and ₹ 141.4 Cr through its second week. Stree 2 saw a boost in collections on its third Wednesday, earning around ₹5.72 crore, pushing its total net collection to ₹509.40 crore, according to Sacnilk.

This places Stree 2 ahead of Animal, which earned ₹505 crore in Hindi, and it now ranks as the fifth highest-grossing Hindi film of all time. Additionally, it holds the sixth spot on the all-India box office chart.

Additionally, according to Bollywood Movie Reviewz, Stree 2 has earned Rs 678 Crores gross worldwide. At the same time, the film’s overseas collections stand at Rs 121 Crore.

After beating Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, Stree 2 is now aiming to dethrone SRK starrer 2023 blockbuster hit film, “Pathaan”.
