During this lockdown period, actress Shilpa Shetty remained active on social media, and this was all about her fitness regime. She took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a special moment in her life-on Tuesday, her daughter Samisha turned two months old.

Shilpa said the number 15 turned out to be lucky for her as Samisha was born on February 15 and she hit 15 million followers on April 15 on TikTok. She shared with her baby an adorable video of herself too. “Some things in life are a little more special than others. The number ’15’ has been added to that list now! Our daughter, Samisha Shetty Kundra, came into our lives on Feb 15 and she turns two-months-old today on April 15.”
She thanked everyone for their blessings and for their support. “So grateful for all the love & blessings that you have showered on my family and me over the years… humbled beyond words. Hope you continue to stand by us, rock-solid, even in the years to come,” she wrote.
She had previously shared a picture of the family with her daughter, son Viaan and husband Raj Kundra. In November 2009, Shilpa and Raj married, welcoming their son Viaan in May 2012, and Samisha was born via surrogacy.
Shilpa had explained in an earlier post the meaning of the name of her daughter — ‘Sa’ in Sanskrit is ‘to have’ and ‘Misha’ is Russian standing for ‘someone like God.’
Meanwhile, after a 13-year break with Sabbir Khan’s Nikamma, Shilpa is making her comeback to films. With the newcomers the Shirley Setia and Abhimanyu Dassani who are also YouTube sensation. He will also be seen opposite Meezan Jafferi, Paresh Rawal, and Tollywood star Pranitha Subhash in Priyadarshan’s Hungama 2.
