Shilpa’s encounter with Yoga.
A few years ago Shilpa suffered from severe neck pain. The physiotherapist she consulted for her neck treatment suggested her to practice yoga. After Shilpa started practicing yoga, she slowly started getting attracted towards and going further she went deep into yoga and has released 3 audio-visual yoga training CDs.
Daily Yoga poses to practice
Shilpa suggests the following poses to be practiced daily.
Makarasana, Padahastasana, Dhanurasana, Bhujangasana, Utthanpadasana, Vrikshasana, etc.
Early Morning Drink
Before starting her daily exercise routine, Shilpa Shetty starts her day with lemon water and green tea with honey. According to Shilpa, this drinks increase metabolism.
Healthy Breakfast
Shilpa’s breakfast suggestion is broken wheat upma, low-fat-milk, idlis or paneer bhurji.
Lunch Delight
Red or Brown rice, clear soup, some greens and salad, sautéed vegetables are all included in Shilpa Shetty’s lunch.
Evening Snack
Some fruits and nuts, air-popped popcorn, makhana roasted in homemade desi ghee, etc. are inclusive of Shilpa Shetty’s evening snack.
Dinner
Dinner is Shilpa’s last meal of the day and she likes to keep it light. Her dinner meal included a thin soup, roti and small portion of vegetables.
