Actress Shilpa Shetty has shared glimpses from the first Diwali of her daughter Samisha. Shilpa and her family performed the Laxmi aarti together on the occasion of Diwali.
She shared a video and wrote in the caption, ” I believe the family that prays together, stays together and as is our family’s annual ritual, we offered our prayers to Lakshmi Maa and Samisha whose first Diwali it was. Sending prayers not just for us but for you too. May Maa Lakshmi shower Her blessings on each one of you. Wishing you all a very Happy Diwali!”
She then also shared a sneak peek from Samisha’s first Bhai Dooj. They all were dressed in off-white outfits and Shilpa wrote on Instagram, “The two parts of our hearts. Viaan-Raj & Samisha celebrating their first Bhai Dooj. Hearts full of gratitude because my little boy’s dream for a li’l sister has come true. His happiness today is so evident in his radiant smile. Thank you, Universe.”

Shilpa and Raj Kundra welcomed their daughter earlier this year via surrogacy. She told in an interview, “After Viaan, I did want to have another child for the longest time. But I suffered from an autoimmune disease called APLA and that came into play every time I get pregnant. So I had a couple of miscarriages so it was a genuine issue.”
