The year 2021 was mixed with happy and sad moments for Shilpa Shetty. While on one hand, she made her comeback in films after 14 years with the film ‘Hungama 2’, things turned ugly at a personal level. Her husband Raj Kundra was arrested in July for allegedly producing and distributing adult films. He was granted bail after 2 months. With this controversy, her reputation was damaged. However, she handled the situation with courage and grace and regained people’s love and support.
As the year is about to end, she has penned an emotional note on social media. She wrote, “Dear 2021, You were a mixed bag of emotions for all of us. There were smiles, tears, laughter, hugs, goodbyes and a lot more. But, we sailed through. With a prayer for a better tomorrow, it’s time to bid adieu to you.”
Hoping for a better year, she concluded, “We are ready for you, 2022. Please be nice.”
Shilpa recently took a vacation to Mussoorie with her kids and husband. On the work front, she currently appears as a judge on India’s Got Talent. In 2022, she will be seen in the Bollywood film ‘Nikamma’ also starring Abhimanyu Dassani and Shirley Setia.
