The 2002 blockbuster film Devdas has completed 19 years of release. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film starred Shahrukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai and Madhuri Dixit in lead roles. On completion of 19 years, the entire team took to social media and shared BTS photos or anecdotes.
Shahrukh Khan shared a few pictures on Instagram and credited the team for the film’s success. He then went on to reveal an issue he faced while filming Devdas. Shahrukh wrote, “All the late nights….the early mornings…. hard pace & problems. Worked out fine because of the gorgeous Madhuri Dixit. The stunning Aishwarya Rai Bachchan ever cheerful Jackie Shroff dada, full of life Kirron Kher and the whole team slogging it under the masterful and patient Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Only issue….the dhoti kept falling off….!! Thx for the love everyone. #19YearsOfDevdas”
Madhuri Dixit also shared the film’s poster along with an image of late Dilip Kumar, the original Devdas. She wrote in the caption, “Reminiscing some great and happy memories from the sets of Devdas. Even 19 years later it all feels so fresh! Thank you Sanjay for sharing these. Will Cherish these forever!
