All hail king Khan! Even if you aren’t a Shahrukh fan, chances are, the news of his film might have made you excited as well. The superstar was last seen in “Zero” with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif, with the movie generating a lukewarm response, Shahrukh’s big-screen presence has been missed by many fans since then. But after much waiting, the star has finally dropped the first teaser of his next big “Pathaan”. Along With launching the teaser, the Baazigar star also made a major announcement of the film. SRK himself revealed that the film is all set to release next year on the occasion of Republic Day, which is the 25th of January 2023. With Shahrukh himself making a silver screen appearance almost after 3 years, Deepika Padukone, and action star John Abraham, the movie is undoubtedly the most anticipated one, to hit the cinemas post the pandemic.
The teaser first introduces John, as he stands tall amid hills, on a helipad. The camera further zooms at him saying, “in our country, we keep our name in respect to our religion or caste, but he had none of the options.” The teaser then shows Deepika, who looks like is in the middle of warfare, with bombs and blasts crashing the background. “He didn’t have anyone to keep his name, and the only thing he had was this one country, India ” Deepika is heard saying. The next scene sees king Khan entering the picture as he says, “So he considered India as his religion (Dharma) and protecting the country as his work (Karma). The ones who don’t have a name have a name in the country’s name. How and why this name was monikered, to know all this, you will have to wait for a little. We will soon meet “Pathaan”.
The star captioned the teaser on Instagram and wrote, “ I know it’s late…but remember the date…Pathaan time starts now…See you at the cinema on 25th January 2023. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Celebrate #Pathaan with #YRF50 only on a big screen near you. “The movie is said to be a spy thriller, directed by Siddharth Anand. The teaser has been fetching a lot of buzz on the internet, not only fans are happy to see ‘king Khan’ on the big screen again, but they can’t seem to keep calm about his new avatar in the film too. Congratulatory message poured in as many showered praises on SRK’s powerful comeback.
