Bollywood film industry and the actors are religiously and strictly following all rules related to the COVID 19 pandemic on their sets and fans are feeling very excited as well.

This isn’t surprising at all considering the love that the “Kabir Singh” (2019) actor got from all sections of the world has made him into a much stellar performer who is versatile enough to pull off any sort of roles quite effortlessly.

This is indeed a signal that things are turning back to normal again as film production houses and actors after the unlock phase IV have slowly started going back to their film shoots.

Jersey is an original Telugu film which is being remade in Hindi. This official remake of the Telugu film Jersey’s shooting had actually started before the COVID 19 pandemic, but had gotten halted and stopped due to the global coronavirus pandemic that resulted in an indefinite lockdown and quarantine period for everyone at their homes for about 7 months.

Even now not everything is okay and normal as the pandemic is in full force even now but the unlock phase has allowed the film industry to get back into the grind whereby they are completing their film shootings by following all the rules of sanitization, wearing masks and social distancing as well.

A source involved in the development of the film was quoted telling these details to a leading news website where he mentioned, “Shahid has already started brushing up his cricket skills and is ready to hit the pitch again. A 15-day schedule is planned from the first week of October. This is going to be one of the last remaining schedule. There will be one more schedule after this. The shoot is going to take place in Dehradun and Chandigarh.”

Apart from Shahid, the remaining main cast, which also includes Mrunal Thakur is set to join the shoot. However, here in this shooting schedule, Shahid isn’t required to play much cricket.

Speaking about the same the source also added, “Shahid and Mrunal, among other actors, will be a part of the shoot. Shahid will restart his cricket training sessions. But this schedule won’t involve a lot of cricket. The next one would require him to play it”.

The entire cast and crew of the film had been shooting in Chandigarh earlier this year when the nationwide decision and official announcement to stall all shoots, pre-production and post production work came about by our Indian government. But now after this unlock phase UV, the film unit will start working again by following all kinds of safety precautions.

The source also spilling the beans about the film said, “Jersey was amongst the first films to stop shooting before the lockdown. The makers felt it was the right thing to do and it was necessary. Now the unit is taking all precautions that are mandatory as per the guidelines from the government and the industry”.

Jersey will be directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and would be presented by Allu Aravind. The film would be produced by Aman Gill, Dil Raju and S Naga Vamsi.
