Popular playback singer Shahid Mallya has collaborated with Nawazuddin Siddiqui for his upcoming film ‘Bole Chudiyan’.
Bole Chudiyan is a much-awaited Bollywood film starring Nawazzudin Siddiqui, Tamannaah Bhatia and Kabir Duhan Singh in pivotal roles. Shahid Mallya has sung a beautiful song titled ‘Rehguzar’ for this film. The song came out a few weeks ago and is garnerning love and appreciation from public.

In a recent conversation with Lehren, Shahid shared his experience of working with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. He said, “Nawazuddin Siddiqui is a great artist. Working with him is like getting an award. I felt great working with him. ‘Rehguzar’ is a very different song. And this film is based on his personal life and his career to date. It was a pleasure to work with him on a very different project.”
We then asked him if he immediately checks the reviews on his song as soon as it releases, Shahid said, “The first thing I do is reading the reviews. Reviews are my actual reward because reviews reflect your work. It helps me in knowing the audience’s taste. By God’s grace, I have received love for all my songs till date. Secondly, when a new song of mine gets released, I listen to it about 200 times on loop and then I move on to my next project.”

Shahid has sung many hit Bollywood songs in his career. Ikk Kudi, Rabba Main To Marr Gaya Oye, Iski Uski are just a few to name. He currently has a few Bollywood films in the pipeline. Meanwhile, he is also working on a few singles.
Shahid said, “I am working on some singles in which I will be acting as well. I want people to recognise me. They know my songs already but I want them to know me as well. I have already worked on 5-6 singles. I hope people keep loving me the same way they have been doing so far.”
