Shahid Kapoor reveals he was sleepless and anxious ahead of Jersey shoot

Shahid Kapoor on Twitter gave fans an update about his health ahead of the shoot of his upcoming film Jersey. He is now all well to resumes filming for the film.

Shahid Kapoor who kick-started the filming of his next project, Jersey has fans excited about the same. Shahi was seen prepping for the film for some time now and was spotted in the nets honing his cricket skills. But for the past few weeks, he was out of action due to his health issues. But now the actor revealed that he is all fine and is now set to kick off the shooting of the Hindi remake of the Telugu film. 

Before the shoot of Jersey, Shahid took to Twitter to explain his health issues and what was going on. He explained that he had no sleep and was very anxious, anxiety which he usually felt before starting a new film. Shahid wrote, “Thank you all for all the concern and wishes. Last 2 weeks I was out of action but am well and raring to go now. #Jersey shoot starts tomorrow.  As usual pre shoot nervousness. Sleepless and anxious. Every character is a new challenge. And the responsibility of finding truth.”

In another tweet, he wrote, “Of finding the soul of a protagonist who’s story merits being told. Every character if real will be flawed in some way. Some more than others. The beauty of life and humanity lies in its acceptance of its own imperfection.”

Shahid’s Jersey will tell the story of a struggling cricketer whose life goes through various challenges. Super 30 actress Mrunal Thakur will be seen playing the lead female role opposite Shahid in the film. Jersey is a remake of the hit Telugu film that goes by the same name and features Nani. Helmed by Gowtham Tinnanuri and produced by Allu Aravind, Aman Gill, Dil Raju, the film will hit theatres on August 28, 2020.
