Shahid Kapoor Hates The ‘Cute’ Word That His Fans Called Him

Shahid Kapoor found the cute word very limiting, and, while he never liked the word, he has learned to accept the compliment gracefully.

Shahid Kapoor needs no introduction! He is the heartbeat of millions of people. He said that there are such movies that have made a mark on our hearts, including Vivaah, Jab We Met, Ishq Vishq, Kabir Singh, and others. The actor is currently basking in the success of his recently released series, Farzi. And with his blistering performance, he has saved Bollywood from drowning. Shahid remains very active on social media and shares some funny videos with his wife, which his fans like a lot. His fans refer to him as ‘cute’ because of his nature, and the number of girls on his list of fans is growing. However, he hated being called that word. 

Recently, during a media interaction, the Farzi actor said that he does not like people calling him cute, he hates that word. He found the word very limiting, and, while he never liked the word, he has learned to accept the compliment gracefully. The actor revealed to Pinkvilla,  “I used to hate it when people used to say, ‘Oh, you are cute’. I used to hate it. Like, why would you say that to anybody?I never liked that word. I have learned to be gracious and accept when people throw it at you. I just felt like it was very limiting.”


The actor will be completing his 20 years journey in Bollywood in April and recalling his movie choices the actor wonder what he was thinking at that time. He said, “It’s been pretty psychotic. What was I thinking about some of the choices? Kaminey followed by Dil Bole Hadippa. And Haider followed by R Rajkumar. I don’t know what was going on with me.”
