Also known as the Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming films in the next two years have always been a hot and buzzing topic of discussion in the media and film fraternity given his long hiatus and sabbatical from films after the failure of Zero (2018) but now its a happening scoop for all the movie lovers, film fanatics and fans as their blue eyed actor Shah Rukh’s double role details in Atlee’s film gets revealed.

According to the latest ongoing news media reports, it seems that Shah Rukh will be seen playing a double role of both father and son in South Indian director Atlee’s next complete masala entertainer film.

Atlee is a very famous and critically acclaimed director in Tollywood industry who is best known for creating films like Bigil, Theri, Mersal where the main plot and theme of this upcoming film would majorly revolve around the double role characters of father and son with special emphasis on their worlds, along with the conflicts and the confrontation. Even though the idea of the double role concept has a very uncanny resemblance to the yesteryear classic Bollywood film Shakti, but the entire thought process and theme is going to be very different and intriguing.

Fans and cinema lovers have a lot of amazing things to look forward for in the next two years since the Badshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan has three big budget films in his pipeline which include Siddharth Anand’s Pathan in which John Abraham will be the villain and Deepika Padukone will be playing the female lead in this YRF Films project, 3 Idiots (2009) fame Rajkumar Hirani’s film in which Saand Ki Aankh (2019) fame Taapsee Pannu will be playing the female lead opposite Shah Rukh Khan, and lastly Atlee’s masala entertainer.

One of the most anticipated films of 2021 which has been successful enough in creating a buzz and has been constantly talked about and discussed in the media since its announcement itself is Atlee’s film. It is an official news now that he will be seen doing a double role in the film. Now the latest update of the hour is that it will be a father son duo whose thought process and perception of life will be very different like chalk and cheese which would later create a strain on their relationship with each other.

The most loved Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh’s meeting with Atlee at his office in Chennai had made a stir in both Tollywood and Bollywood industry.

A source involved in the development of Atlee’s film project was quoted telling a leading Indian entertainment tabloid that, “Unlike those films however, here, the two characters are a generation apart. At the heart of the actioner is the father-son relationship, which is fractured by their polarising worldviews. The father is a senior R&AW agent, who is on a mission to capture his gangster son. Though the premise is similar to that of Ramesh Sippy’s Shakti (1982), the stories have nothing further in common.”

This is not the first time for Shah Rukh as even before this film he had also done double roles in films like Duplicate (1998) and Don (2006).

The source further also told the tabloid, “The project is likely to roll from mid-2021 after Pathan is complete.”
