Shah Rukh’s cousin Noor Jehan passes away in Peshawar Pakistan

Noor Jehan, a cousin of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, sad demise today after a severe illness in Peshawar Pakistan.

Noor Jehan was a paternal cousin of Bollywood superstar shah rukh khan. Due to prolonged illness, Noor passed away today in Peshawar Pakistan. Her husband Asif Burhan said she was suffering from oral cancer. Jehan, aged 52, the Bollywood superstar’s paternal cousin, lived in Mohallah Shah Wali Qataal area near the Qissa Khwani Bazaar in Peshawar.

Having previously operated as a district and city councilor, Jehan was active politically and even submitted nomination papers for the 2018 General Elections seat of the PK-77 provincial assembly, before withdrawing at the last minute.

Asif said the father of Shah Rukh and the father of Noor Jehan were siblings and she occasionally contacted her cousin on the phone.

She visited India in 1997 and 2011, to spend time with brother Shah Rukh Khan. She had been in India with her husband on her first visit. Khan also visited his family members at Peshawar along with his parents Lateef Fatima Khan and Taj Mohammed Khan twice during his childhood.

Moreover, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in the movie Zero, and his upcoming film is yet to be revealed. He is currently producing Bob Biswas, a movie with Abhishek Bachchan as its lead. Shah Rukh Khan and wife Gauri reside in Mumbai’s Bandra along with their three children, Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam.
