Shah Rukh To Produce Edgy Crime Thriller Movie “Love Hostel”

This is indeed exciting news for all the fans, Netizens, and film aficionados as after making the critically acclaimed series Bard of Blood (2019) for Netflix India, now yet again Shah Rukh to produce edgy crime thriller movie “Love Hostel”.

Not only limiting himself to films, the iconic actor and globally crowned King of romance has ventured into producing good and exciting content for the currently booming digital OTT webspace where after garnering immense commercial success and critical acclaims for Bard Of Blood,  again Shah Rukh to produce edgy crime thriller movie “Love Hostel”.

The edgily layered crime drama thriller movie titled as “Love Hostel” will have an ensemble star cast comprising Aashram (Mx Player, 2020) fame Bobby Deol, Badhaai Ho (2018) fame Sanya Malhotra and Chhapaak (2019) fame Vikrant Massey.

Love Hostel is going to be produced by Gauri Khan, Manish Mundra, and Gaurav Verma in joint collaboration together. Where, the film will be a Red Chillies Entertainment presentation of a Drishyam Films production and will be going on the floors to start their filming and shooting by early 2021 which will be hitting the theatre screens within the same year as well.

Love Hostel is going to be set against an earthy and rustic backdrop of Northern India which will mainly be revolving around the entire journey of a ghosted spirited young couple who are being hunted and searched for desperately by a ruthlessly brutal mercenary where further in the film we would be seeing the way in which this star crossed pair of fated lovers then end up taking the entire world by storm in the never ending quest and search of their fairytale happy ending.

This is basically an emotionally power packed action drama tale where we will see the survival of the fittest in the sickening and maddening game for money, principles, lust and power where also a lot of gory bloodshed and mayhem will be shown.

Love Hostel is going to be directed and has been written by critically acclaimed film maker Shanker Raman who is national award winning cinematographer who previously has also directed the acclaimed film Gurgaon (2017).

This film will be the second successful collaboration of Drishyam Films and Red Chillies Entertainment after the critically acclaimed and successful film Kaamyaab which had released earlier this year which also subsequently marks the second big collaboration of Shah Rukh’s Red Chillies and Bobby Deol after Class of ’83, which had also released earlier this year in 2020 before the global wide COVID 19 pandemic.

On the other hand, this is also going to be both Sanya and Vikrant’s first big project with actor Shah Rukh Khan’s well-known production house Red Chillies Entertainment.

When during a recent interview with a leading digital entertainment website the director Shanker was asked about the film he said, “I have always been interested in questions of the hearts and minds. And I would say this, no matter what the question, violence is not the answer. I am happy to have found the perfect partners in Vikrant and Sanya and the formidable Bobby Deol. Love Hostel as a film not only questions what our society has become but also the paths we take to solve our problems”.
