Makarand Deshpande stands tall in the list of tremendous talents in field of Theatre, Hindi, Marathi and South cinema nationwide. The multilingual actor made his on screen debut with the famous television show Circus and has starred in numerous stellar hits like Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Sarfarosh, Makdee, Swades, Khatta Meetha and many more. The artist has acted in 50 short plays and 40 full-length plays including Sir Sir Sirla, Joke, Maa In Transit, Krishna Kidding, and Shakepearcha Mhatara.
In an exclusive interview with Lehren Retro, Makarand talked about his recently released films and also elaborated about his experiences and equation with co-actors Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan.
The 58-year-old actor made his debut with Shah Rukh Khan’s Circus and Aamir Khan’s Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak on television and big screen respectively. The Khatta-Meetha star said that Shah Rukh Khan’s aura is still the grandest-greatest and his aura plus stardom is irreplaceable. Makarand added that Aamir khan is a real perfectionist as his hardwork and story-selection for films is always on point. He also unveiled the fact that the Ghajini star is supremely grounded in nature and holds a down to earth persona.
