Shah Rukh Khan Reveals He Always Wanted To Be Action Hero

In a video released by the producers Yash Raj Films, the actor spoke about his experience of working in Pathaan.

Shah Rukh Khan is known as ‘King Of Romance’ all over the world. But in a video released by the producers Yash Raj Films, the actor finally admitted that he actually wanted to be an action hero. “I came to the film industry 32 years ago to be an action hero but I missed the boat because they made me a romantic hero instead”, Khan admitted.

Khan further added that with working in Pathaan has finally made his dream come true. “I’ve only wanted to be an action hero. I mean I love DDLJ and I love Rahul and Raj and all these good sweet boys but I always thought I was an action hero, so for me it is my dream come true”.

Pathaan is Shah Rukh Khan’s first full fledged action film and the actor will be seen performing some death defying acrobatic stunts. In this recent candid video, the actor also revealed how his co-stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone helped him in performing these stunts and making them look more believable. “He is so proficient in action, he really helped me look nicer in body language. It was very kind of him. And if you are doing an action film and you have a co-star like John, there is a lot to learn from him, especially in this genre”.

Praising Deepika for her acrobatic abilities, the actor further added, “You need someone of a stachure of Deepika to be able to pull off song sequence like ‘Besharam Rang’, and then to be do an action where she takes a guy and throws him right over herself and make it believable. She is tough enough to do that. I think she even looks tougher than me in the film”.
