Shah Rukh Khan to work with Bigil and Mersal director Atlee for a new project?

It is reported that Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee will commence on a new project from December this year. And as nothing is yet confirmed, we will just have to wait for an official announcement from the makers. Here's is the details of their new project

Fans of Shah Rukh Khan are patiently waiting for him to announce his next as it was recently reported that he was reading scripts. There is a new buzz that King Khan will announce two new films on his birthday, November 2. One is rumoured to be with Rajkumar Hirani, while for the second project he is reported to team up with the blockbuster Tamil director Atlee, who delivered money-spinners like Mersal and Theri. It is reported that the project with Atlee will commence from December, but as there is no confirmation yet we are waiting for the official announcement from the makers.

Shah Rukh Khan in a recent interview stated, “I am thinking and taking some time. I am working on two or three scripts and, Inshallah, as soon as they are ready, I am ready. Because most of the people with whom I am working are busy so, Inshallah, I will announce it myself. I feel till the time rumours are floating around, it’s good because some of them have given me ideas.”

There have also been talks going on about how Shah Rukh may work with Tamil cinema’s celebrated filmmaker, S. Shankar after he completes the Indian sequel with Kamal Haasan. Not only that but he is also in talks with Gurinder Chadha for a film. If that happens as planned, King Khan will foray in the international circuit. 

Atlee is currently busy promoting his upcoming film Bigil with actor Thalapathy Vijay, which will hit theatres this Diwali. Bigil is the second most expensive Tamil film, after Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar’s 2.0, made on a massive budget of Rs 180 crore. Produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram under the banner AGS Entertainment, the film also stars Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, Vivek and Jackie Shroff in key roles.
