After a remarkable run at the box office in the first week, Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham starrer Pathaan’s Hindi version has continued its dream run by amassing Rs. 90 crores in the second week.
Pathaan now stands at 4th in line of highest collections ever in a second week, after Bahubali: The Conclusion (2017), Dangal (2016), P.K. (2014).
Pathaan’s Hindi version’s total in India now stands at Rs. 442 crores. And the combined Indian box office total including Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions is Rs. 459 crores.
Siddharth Anand’s spy thriller has also emerged as the highest grosser Hindi film in the overseas market excluding China. After beating Dangal (2016), Padmaavat (2018), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) the film is now heading towards 50 million marks.
Pathaan has a free run at the ticket window for another week and after seeing its box office run till now, it’s pretty clear that Pathaan will be the first Hindi language film to cross the Rs. 1000 crore mark at worldwide box office excluding China.
