After Shah Rukh Khan who was last seen in Anand L. Rai’s film Zero, which didn’t do well at the box-office, various conjectures surrounding his next film popped up! Though Shah Rukh Khan admitted that he is taking time off and will be spending time with family, fans can’t keep calm as they are eagerly waiting to see him on-screen with a bang.
Though it was speculated that Shah Rukh Khan has signed for an action film, The actor took to Twitter to squash those rumours. He tweeted, “It’s always nice to know that in my absence & behind my back, I have surreptitiously signed so many films that even I am not aware of!! Boys & girls I do a film when I say I am doing it….otherwise it’s just post truth..”
But during a recent Ted Talks India event, Shah Rukh spoke about his next film. He revealed that at the moment he is looking at two to three scripts and will announce his next film in a month or two. It was also speculated that Shah Rukh would star in the remake of Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill, but there is no confirmation on the same. Shah Rukh during the Ted Talk India event said, “I am thinking and taking some time. I am working on two or three scripts and, Inshallah, as soon as they are ready, I am ready. Because most of the people with whom I am working are busy so, Inshallah, I will announce it myself. I feel till the time rumours are floating around, it’s good because some of them have given me ideas.”
Shah Rukh Khan who will soon be turning 54 stated that there was one film people said he would do, “I am going to do — Tarzan and Jane and now, I really want to do the role of Tarzan (laughs). But no. I think, Inshallah, in another month or two, I will figure out everything.” Well seems like Shah Rukh Khan may just make the big announcement on his birthday.
