Shah Rukh Khan’s latest spy thriller Pathaan is breaking all the box office records of Bollywood and is creating new records. The superstar is also enjoying the success of the film by interacting with his fans on Ask SRK’ session on Twitter.
On Sunday, Renuka Shahane tweeted a couple of pictures of her with husband Ashutosh Rana as the couple finally went to watch Pathaan. Ashutosh himself stars in the SRK, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham starrer as Colonel Luthra, Pathaan’s superior.
Sharing the images, Renuka wrote, “Finally going to watch #Pathaan… Mausam bilkul sahi hai… kursi ki peti baandh li hai… with Col Luthra ji (sic)”.
To this tweet, Shah Rukh Khan replied in a funny tweet, “Col Luthraji ko bataya aapne ki aap meri pehli heroine hain!! Or should we keep it a Top Secret otherwise he may fire me from the agency!!!
Even Renuka gave a witty reply. She wrote, “Hahaha unsey koi baat chhupti kahaan hai? Aaphi ne unhe antaryaami kahaa hai… aur chaahey jo ho jaaye, woh aapko fire nahi kar saktey kyunki jo kaam aap kartey hain woah koi aur nahi kar saktaa(sic)”.
For those unversed, Renuka Shahane and Shah Rukh Khan worked together in a 1989 television show Circus. The 19 episode show follows the lives of circus artists as they go about their daily routines surviving the twists and turns life throws at them.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The spy thriller has earned around Rs 750 crore worldwide and has become the highest-earning Bollywood film ever in the domestic market by crossing Rs. 400 crore mark in India.
