It seems there is no stopping for Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. After going on absolute rampage on the second day, which was a national holiday, the spy thriller witnessed an expected dip in collection on the 3rd day. As per early estimates, the film has grossed Rs. 36 crores on 3rd day taking its total Hindi nett collection to Rs. 159-160 crores finishing way ahead of KGF 2 which had a weekend of Rs. 140.50 crore nett.
Pathaan has maintained a rocking momentum after a bumper opening weekend at the box office. As per early reports, the film has accumulated a whopping Rs. 22 crores on fourth day only through advance booking. Seeing such historic response, it’s safe to assume that the domestic net collection of the film will easily cross Rs. 240 crores over the first extended weekend and Rs.300 crores in a week.
Not just in India, Pathaan is also having a thunderous response overseas. As per early estimates, Pathaan is having its biggest day yet in overseas markets on its Day 3 (Fri) close to $6M. Extended 5 day weekend can now have a chance of touching $25M.
Pathaan, which also stars Deepika Padukone, John Abraham and Salman Khan in cameo role, is the fourth film in YRF’s spy universe. The Siddharth Anand directorial arrived in cinemas on January 25.
