According to the latest estimates Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan has collected Rs 113 crore on its second day, taking the two-day total close to Rs 220 crore. The YRF Universe film is headed toward a two-day gross of Rs 85 crore, with the global market expected in the range of $3.5 million. After a 4-year long hiatus helped the superstar carefully pick up the script and an outstanding comeback.
There were boycott trends toward Pathaan, especially after the Besharam song over the controversy over Deepika’s orange bikini. But clearly, nothing can stop a film to break records.
Film journalist and Film Journalist and trade analyst, Himesgh Mankad tweeted that Pathaan’s box office collection with Rs 220 crore in 2 days. Pathaan has created records in its two-day collection- be it in India or abroad and this just beginning as more records will squash in the coming 3 days. The movie is headed towards an extended opening weekend of 163 crores in international markets and will be grosser in no time.
The two-day run of Pathaan exceeded historic and as per the occupancy in the morning show on Friday, everyone is waiting to see another huge day collection and how much beyond Pathaan goes from this number.
Written and helmed by Siddharth Anand and bankrolled by Yash Raj Films, Pathaan is the fourth instalment of the YRF’s own spy verse and also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in pivotal roles.
