Shah Rukh Khan Opens Up On Doing Pathaan, Says “I Always Wanted To…”

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan recently turned 57. Many fans of the superstar celebrated his 57th birthday yesterday. While during a recent fan event the actor spoke about his Bollywood comeback with Siddharth Anand’s film Pathaan. The actor revealed that he always wanted to do an action film like “Pathaan”. Shah Rukh Khan Opens Up On Doing “Pathaan”

During the fan event Shah Rukh opened up on making his comeback with his 3 upcoming films, Dunki, Pathaan and Jawan. He further revealed that he always wanted to do an action film like “Mission Impossible”. Shah Rukh said, “I was told that I am liked when I do heroic films, when I look physically good and can dance. I believe that when someone makes commercial films, we shouldn’t add our own creativity to it, because we need to keep it simple, as it’s made on someone else’s orders. So I have to make a film that makes all of you happy, and all these three films (Pathaan, Dunki and Jawan) are what I’ve never done before. I’ve always wanted to do something like Mission Impossible, cool action film—I think Pathaan is like that.” 

Talking about Shah Rukh’s part in the film, director Siddharth Anand recently said, “Shah Rukh Khan, truly, has been ruling the hearts and minds of audiences for decades and Pathaan marks his return to the big screen after a gap of four long years. So, while we decided to surprise them all on his birthday, the pressure to deliver was immense.”

About Pathaan

Pathaan is Aditya Chopra’s spy universe movie slated to release on 25th January 2023. The movie also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham along with Shah Rukh Khan. Salman Khan is said to play a cameo in the movie. Directed by Siddharth Anand the action drama is produced under the banners of Yash Raj Films.
