Shah Rukh Khan To Resume Shoot For Jawan From February 1

The action entertainer also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra and Priyamani.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan has created history at the Indian box office by earning Rs. 127 crores on the first two days. While Pathaan continues to break and set new records, Shah Rukh Khan set to resume shooting for Atlee Kumar’s Jawan from February 1.

According to a report in Peeping Moon, Shah Rukh Khan will return to the sets of Jawan on February 1 for a six-day schedule where he is expected to shoot major action sequences. Sanya Malhotra is also expected to join the set for a short stint.

As per the same report, Vijay Sethupathi and Priyamani, who are also playing important roles in the film, will resume shooting later in February 2023. The makers are planning to shoot the remaining sequences in various cities and complete the shoot by March 2023.

Jawan is directed by Atlee Kumar who is a popular name in Tamil cinema for delivering back to back super hits such as Theri (2016), Mersal (2017), Bigil (2019). The film also stars Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, Ridhi Dogra, and Sunil Grover in pivotal roles.

Jawan will mark Shah Rukh Khan’s first pan-India film which will be released on June 2, 2023, in five languages. The movie will be presented by SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainment and produced by Gauri Khan.
