One of the A-lister actresses in Bollywood, Deepika Padukone has completed 15 years in the industry. Starting her journey with her debut film Om Shanti Om directed by Farah Khan she has achieved success over the years. Deepika shared the screen with Shah Rukh Khan in her first-ever Bollywood movie. Now her first co-star has congratulated the actress on completing the milestone. Bollywood megastar was all praises for the actress cherishing films they have worked on together.
As Deepika Padukone completed 15 years in the Hindi film Industry, Shah Rukh Khan took to his social media. He congratulated the actor with a sweet post. SRK shared a collage featuring him along with Deepika from their collaborations. The stills are captured from Om Shanti Om to Chennai Express and Happy New Year. In every picture, they are exchanging eye contact and further Badshah mentioned ‘still looking at you’.
He wrote in the caption, “To 15 fabulous years of excellence… perseverance…amazing performances with you and the warm hugs!! Here’s looking at you…Looking at you. and looking at you…and still looking at you… @deepikapadukone.”
Reacting to the post, the Bajirao Mastani actress wrote, “Words can do no justice to describe our love!” Her actor husband Ranveer Singh too left a comment on SRK’s post. He wrote, “Special!”
Since her debut in Bollywood with King Khan, Deepika has reunited with him over and over again. Post Om Shanti Om the duo was paired in Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express before reuniting again for Farah Khan’s Happy New Year. She also had a dance number in SRK’s production Billu and a special appearance in Zero.
Shah Rukh and Deepika make a hit pair in Bollywood. They will continue to do so in their upcoming movies. Both have collaborated again for two major superhits upcoming Hindi commercial movies. DP will play the female lead in the much-awaited spy thriller Pathaan, which also stars John Abraham as an antagonist in Shah Rukh Khan starrer.
Another film that the superstar has in the pipeline is Jawan which will feature Nayanthara as the female lead but Deepika also holds a pivotal role in Atlee’s directorial. Jawan will release in theaters on 23rd June 2023 whereas Pathaan will hit big screens on 25th January 2023. Fans are eagerly waiting to see Om Shanti Om pair back on the silver screen.
